The Hotel Alpenaussicht is the perfect hotel if you're after an all round fantastic experience. Just short walk from the centre of Obergurgl and virtually opposite the Festkogel gondola, it's simple to get about. Built into the mountainside, you'll enter the hotel via the main road to the top floor, where the reception, restaurant and bar are located. These areas are decorated with traditional Austrian ambience, and you'll be welcomed with excellent service from the Ribis family.Quietly away from the roads of Obergurgl, each room has a view along the Ötz Valley or of the surrounding peaks. The rooms range from great value smaller rooms - perfect if you're after a cosy base to get a good night's sleep - to the superior Alpenrose rooms with plenty of space. All the rooms are tastefully decorated with modern touches to complement their classic style. Balcony rooms also offer great views of the valley. Plus there's free WiFi throughout.Whichever room you choose, you'll have access to the Vital wellness suite, which has herbal and Tyrolean saunas, Kneipp foot baths and massage showers.
